The cottage has been carefully planned and has been awarded the National Accessibility Standard M3-1 (Typically suitable for a person who depends on a wheelchair and transfers unaided to and from a wheelchair in a seated position. The person maybe an independent traveller). Many guests comment on how spacious the accomodation is, and we look forward to greeting guests of all ages.

The en-suite has been equipped to allow wheelchair users full access to all facilities.

The toilet is situated so that it is open on one side to allow for wheelchair access and it has grab rails and bars to assist transfer in and out of wheelchairs. The main grab rail folds up when not required.

The shower is at floor level and has grab rails and seating that can be folded away when not in use. There are also low-level shower controls. A portable shower chair is available for guests use.
